The Secret of the Pleasant Life of Hazrat Usman (RA)
Hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) had done every effort in serving Hazrat Usman (RA) well. Hazrat Usman (RA) also used to revere his wife well and used to consider every desire of his as sacred.

Hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was the eldest daughter of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). The name of your mother was Khadija tulle Kubra (RA). You (RA) were betrothed to hazrat Usman (RA) after the demise of Hazrat Ruqayya (RA). The third daughter of hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was born 6 years before of prophethood according to a famous quote. After the nikaah of of Hazrat Zaineb (RA) the first marriage of hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was done with the son of Abu Lahab (Utaiba). But until now she had not departed. After the announcement of prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), Abu Lahab started opposing him (PBUH) severely and started his oppressive schemes. In order to torment Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) he forced Utaibah to divorce hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) which proved to be a good omen for her. On the occasion of the migration to Abyssinia, when the sister of hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) hazrat Ruqayya (RA) went to Abyssinia with hazrat Usman (RA), hazrat Umme-eKulsoom (RA) started living in the house of her parents under their guardianship and in the company of her younger sister hazrat Fatima (RA). When hazrat Muhammad (RA) used to go out of the house for the purpose of daawah, then instead of being young she used to encourage her father (PBUH). And when you (PBUH) used to return home after enduring the oppressions of the infidels, Hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) used to soothe his (PBUH) agony with her innocent love.
After being thwarted by the torments of the infidels when Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) had to confine himself (PBUH) in shaib-e-Abi-Taalib, hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom endured all the hardships and torments by confining herself over there along with her mother hazrat Khadija-tul-Kubra (RA), sister hazrat Fatima (RA) and father hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). After confinement of 2.5 - 3 years when this blockade came to an end, the family of Prophet (PBUH) breathed a sigh of relief. But this peace and tranquility suddenly converted to pain and agony. In the same year when in the holy month of Ramadhan when the wife of hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and the mother of hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA), hazrat Khadija (RA) passed away.
According to Asad-al-Ghaaba Ibn-e-Saad hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was betrothed to Hazrat Usman-e-Ghani (RA) in the month of Rabi-al-Awwal 3 AH. And after a few months in Jamaadi-ulAwwal 3 AH she her wedding ceremony took place.The husband of hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA), Hazrat Umsan-e-Ghani (RA) was a kind hearted and a noble person. You relationship with Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was that of sincerity. This was the reason that till the time hazrat Ruqayya (RA) and after her hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) remained married to you (RA), he (RA) did not marry someone else. The matrimony relationships of hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) and Hazrat Usman (RA) were very pleasant. Hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) had done every effort in serving Hazrat Usman (RA) well. Hazrat Usman (RA) also used to revere his wife well and used to consider every desire of his as sacred. However, Allah almighty had not given any offspring to hazrat Usman (RA) through hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA). And only Allah knows about His divine wisdom and plans.Allah Almighty had given a lot of wealth and affluence to hazrat Usman (RA). He used to use his wealth very generously for the welfare of the Muslims. However, you used to be very generous in providing for the dress and food of his (RA) wife. The special servant of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) hazrat Anas bin Maalik (RA) says that, I saw a precious shawl on on hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) that was made of silk. (Bukhaari, Nisaai, Ibn-e-Saad, Ibn-e-Hajar) It appears from the statement of hazrat Anas bin Maalik (RA) that the dress of hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was very very elegant. On staying with a husband like Hazrat Usman (RA) who was wealthy, affluent, and generous, this social lifestyle of is the sign of a happy matrimonial life.
Hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom remained married to hazrat Usman (RA) for around 6 years. During this period Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) remained busy in various battles. Whereas hazrat Usman (RA) also remained busy in Jehad with his life and property with hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). In 9 AH in the month of Shaabaan the last moments of the life of hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) arrived. And she (RA) passed away. After her demise, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) himself performed her finals rituals. And the women who participated in bathing her (RA) included Hazrat Safiyya bint-e-Abdul Mutallib (RA), hazrat Asmaa bint-e-Amees (RA) and hazrat Umm-e-Attiya (RA) specially. The bathing and cloth of hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was specially done according to the direction of hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). After this hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) led her funeral prayers. After that he (PBUH) prayed for her (RA) forgiveness. Hazrat umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was buried in jannat-ul-Baqee. At that time the age of hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (RA) was only 22 years.
